MY DISTRIBUTION PLAN
Firstly i will think about when and how i will be releasing my film. I believe it should be released during autum to winter time when it's darker outside which will add to it's horror, it should be released near to halloween but earlier to eliminate competition that release films close to halloween. The audience in which the film will be aimed at is 18 as it will be an extreme horror movie, they will buy tickets because the trailer and posters will attract them also it is full of gore and horror that is not conventional or expected which makes the film different to other films. Considering the amount in which the film will profit at is important and i will predict the amount and take 30% of it to make the advertising for the film, this is a good way to budget the movie and not spend to much or loose too much either. the trailer that is released will be attractive to the audience because the target audience will be thoroughly examined their age, interrests, aiming it at the popular culture for a bigger audience, making sure that both boys and girls will enjoy the story line that is shown in the trailer. If i am not sure about the standard of the film i will stagger release it so that i can make a rough summary on how successful it could be then if it goes well release it into the big i max cinemas and so on.
